Hello Snowy Owls! Your home learning is all available on Seesaw.
Every day you will be set a new task for daily reading, english, maths and a foundation subject like science or geography.
Here is a copy of what a school day looks like for your child. The timetable includes the times your child's teacher is available for questions and live teaching. We fully understand that many of you have work to do and may have more than one child. It is just to let you know when we are doing live teaching, we do appreciate you may have to access the tasks at different times of day. Please let us know if you need support with technology.
Every day Mrs Gallagher will put a link on for a Microsoft Teams meeting which will begin at 9.30. Mrs Gallagher will explain each of the tasks briefly at this point and say hello to everyone! If you are unable to join the class at 9.30 for any reason, don't worry! Mrs Gallagher will record the introduction and upload it afterwards so that you can watch it afterwards.
After the the 9.30 introduction, please work through the tasks on Seesaw using the live teaching videos provided to help you. If you are unsure of anything at all, please re-enter the Teams meeting via the Seesaw link. Mrs Gallagher or Mrs Betts will be available to answer any questions you have. When you have completed a task, please click the green ADD RESPONSE button on the task you have completed, and upload the work you have done. You can do this by taking a photo of it, recording your voice or drawing a picture. Any response you send lets me know you have done your work, and also means the task will turn into a 'done' task.
If you would like to join us all for assembly and story time you can re-enter the Teams meeting at 12:50.
You should have all logins in your paper packs, which were delivered on 5th January. If you think something is missing please let Mrs Gallagher know on Class Dojo, or by email firstname.lastname@example.org
Please do your best to complete the daily tasks. If you are finding there is too much, or not enough work, please let us know as soon as possible, and we will contact you to help. We appreciate home learning is not as straight forward as learning from home, and are here to support you in every way we can.
